What pops into your mind when you hear "Japan"? As for me “Combining Tradition and Innovation” It’s amazing to me that modernization can not make the value of tradition be lost. And while they’re creating new technology, they’re also creating a society of people who have good discipline, respect for others, and be responsible. I was always admiring this. Debate is good & healthy, it is also place to ‘showcase’ your ideas, in this context how to make Malaysia great with ‘new economic model’ My views and comments in the recent economic debat. I cant really see the model though is here and there, not answering questions, rhectorical, cynical & at time off tracks, but is time to institutionalise debate culture for Malaysia, it’s not about winning or losing, seriously is all about how logical & relevent your policy proposal

I have a special affiliation towards Japan and Japanese products, in a world where Chinese can give you anything at cheapest of prices and the same thing the westerners can give you at a price that will send chills down your spine, there lies an ideology known as Japan. I feel the biggest difference between them and anyone else on earth is " Ikigai ", the biggest quest for anyone is to find " Purpose " in life, it's akin to Google maps telling you to take the second exit, I will if I know which one it is. Upon pondering on Ikigai for a while what I understood was, this is wat exactly Ikigai is " to think ", to take or make time to sit with urself and have a conversation. To understand your purpose, to gauge if it is practical, if it can sustain you, and the most important can it be of any use to the society as a whole. Do we really care ? Do we have time for this " Society " Nonsense ? " Apna kaam banta, Bhaad me jaaye janta ". Until the pain of someone else starts to truly hurt you, " We " are going nowhere. There might be Opulance but how will u find Joy ? Toyota, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Citizen, Seiko, Casio these companies and their products are truly by the people, for the people and to the people. I wish Japan a quick recovery from its Economic situation, May the Sun rise on them.🤞 PS : Are Tokyo and Kyoto related ? #communalgrowth #greatness

My theory of why Japan struggles to grow globally and domestically?? What is your answe to this question? There is no doubt the driver of Japanese success in the past 30-35 years is coming from “ quality and technological breakthrough” . But these drivers do not bring success so easily any more! Why? Everyone can “ copy” or improve and it is so costly to compete with only these two weapons! The new driver for success is now “ art”, “ design” and inspiration of CEO. Yet these are somewhat weak areas for many Japanese . Why? Because these “ talents” are coming fromtext books or school but “ while “ art, design “ uniqueness come from diversified culture” and as you know we are far behind in diversification! Mazda is exceptional in this area. Look at their design! Sony is also exceptional . Also who first spelled like Mazda not Mazuda?
